The IM option with Identi.ca is nice though. If you have a web based cell phone (which unfortunately I don&#039;t) then you can do a lot with it. I always have a gmail window available so that works well for me, I wouldn&#039;t use a desktop client. In fact, I believe that using desktop clients in general will be obsolete soon but that&#039;s another topic :)

I really like TwitterFeed and that&#039;d be a nice feature... On my blog, people have the ability to subscribe by email, RSS, Twitter (via twitterfeed). Why not Identi.ca? :)</description>

And not just because I started the site! I feel like the community is very strong on Identi.ca, that the feedback loop is really tight between CYI and the people on the site.

Most of all, early adopters get a much better chance of gratitude. We&#039;ve been really lucky to have such enthusiastic support from the Montreal tech community, and that&#039;s so crucial in the first weeks and months.
