Who needs a SAN when you can have this?
Hitachi (who bought IBM’s hard drive business sometime ago) is going to release new 4TB drives in 2009. Looks like having a SAN won’t be a priority for a lot of people and a good distributed filesystem (much like Google’s) might be very handy. I’m not sure about you but most of what I found during my past research wasn’t ready for production…
