Upcoming StartupWeekend in Montreal?

Heri, from MontrealTechWatch, mentions about a possible StartupWeekend / BlitzWeekend in a few weeks. He shares his experience and it seems like it was very positive.
This brings an interesting question, how long does it really take to create a startup? It took me DAYS just to finalize my latest business model and I’ve been working on it for WEEKS now (ok, ok, part time that is). Does being “slow” hurt entrepreneurs in this online world? Does being “too quick” hurt as well by being too focused on your own thoughts and not on what people really want?

about being too quick, i dont think it hurts. You can reiterate afterwards based upon your users’ inputs.
