Is Skype dead?

Blognation has an article about eBay and Skype. Another cool product bites the dust? It seems that everything that was “once cool” but bought by some large corporate eventually dies. ICQ, Netscape, Skype, Dodgeball and so on are good examples. Do large corporations kill innovation?

    You’re welcome… Lots of great topics on your blog BTW. Yeah I think Skype will unfortunately suffer. Great technology gets copied and innovation usually runs away when big corporations join in the bandwagon… Who’s using ICQ nowadays? It had way more features 10 years ago than MSN now. But it’s dead now…
