Thank you Telus for caring about me!
I know this post is going outside the scope of my blog but I promise the pain you will suffer will be very short and I will feel so much better ranting about it. After all, I like to rant and who doesn’t?
I received an email this week from Telus saying that I will receive unlimited local phone calls on my birthday. Yes! Unlimited local calls! Isn’t it awesome? I couldn’t wait telling everyone about it. No not really. Is this a joke from Telus? I think so. I would rather not get anything than getting something like this.
What does it cost to Telus? Nothing of course as I never “bust” my plan. I would rather have 1 dollar off my invoice, that would satisfy me a lot more than having unlimited local calls on my birthday. And what am I going to do anyway? Brag to everyone that it’s my birthday? I think not! Perhaps if I was a 14 years old girl, which I’m not. Unlimited international calls would be another thing as I could take the opportunity to call friends oversea. But will I talk more because it’s my birthday? No..! Then again, thanks Telus for being such a great company and caring about me and sharing happiness during my birthday. Without you, I… I would be so much better after all.
