Introducing YulNews
Time has come to talk about my latest startup. I know I dropped some hints here and there but today is the day where I want to come clean, sort of speaking. I plan to launch a new site named YulNews and while the final details are still “secret”, I can say that it will change the way people know about what’s going on around them.
I should also mention that this site has no affiliation with yulbuzz, yulstart or yulbiz. I just like the fact that “yul” means Montreal (as in airport code) and “You will” at the same time. More on that later but I guess I already gave enough hints so far…

i’d like to point out once and for all that YUL does *NOT* mean montréal, it’s the dorval airport (don’t make me refer to it by its new name…), as you know very well. What people don’t seem to realize is that, along with these airport codes are city and country codes. When referring to montréal as the city, you should use YMQ…
I know, this is anally retentive, and nobody’s going to do it, but i wanted to share it and i sure wish people would make the distinction…

I must say that you’re 100% right..! In my case though, I should say that “YUL” is 10% about Montreal and 90% about the users…
